   Sunday in a Word

We’re talking the text!  Each Tuesday, the pastoral staff discusses the sermon text for the upcoming Sunday, and we publish it each Wednesday in our eBlast and our YouTube channel on Wednesdays.  We invite you to listen in and hear our conversation about God’s Word. The link is provided below, and the sermon text is based on Luke 17:11-19.

Everybody hurts...
Some of the hurts in our communities we are aware of, and we have protocols to respond to those. But we all know of others in our community that are hurting in silence, or hurting but haven’t ever named it, or maybe are hurting but don’t really understand what exactly hurts, or others who feel like their hurts aren’t big enough. What are some
of these hidden or overlooked hurts? Where are these other
people who hurt? Isn’t some hurting just a part of life?

This class provides an opportunity for a community of faith to discuss these questions
.
This class is part of a Congregational Care Ministry series.
