Upcoming Deadlines   

  • With the growing number of adults with cystic fibrosis, the CF Foundation's Program for Adult Care Excellence (PACE) is accepting applications through November 1, 2024. The PACE program is a 3-year career development award for physicians interested in adult CF care. Pulmonologists, internists, med/peds, and family practitioners with five or less years of CF clinical experience (not including training) are eligible to apply. Review the 2024 PACE policies and guidelines for the full details. Applications will be accepted through awards.cff.org until November 1, 2024.
Programmatic Updates
  • CFF Workshop Registration: Watch the PRenatal MOdulator Treatment to PrEvent CF ComplicaTions (PROTECT) Workshop via Zoom Webinar on November 15, 2024, 9am-4pm EST. The workshop will review animal studies in the rat and ferret, case studies of CF carrier mothers who have taken ETI during pregnancy, and research gaps, challenges, and opportunities for future work. Webinar participation is open to providers, clinicians, and researchers only. It will be view-only and will not be recorded. Registration is required and must be approved. Click here to register.   • New! For faster response times and assistance, use the Grant Assistance Request Form linked here for general inquiries when you're unsure who to contact. Starting October 1st, instead of emailing grants@cff.org, use the request form instead. Your GCMA contacts, as listed in the system, will provide the quickest response.

  • Complete a Survey to Inform the CF Foundation’s Next Strategic Plan: The CF Foundation has launched a survey aimed at gathering insights from our community to inform our next long-term strategic plan, including CF research and care priorities. Support the development of our next plan by taking this 10-minute survey by October 16.
  • Call for Career Development Seminar Series Presentations. Are you a CFF-funded junior investigator or trainee? We will be continuing our virtual seminar series this year! If you have a CFF funded project and are a clinical fellow, post-doc, or junior faculty member, we want to give you an opportunity to present to the CF research community via virtual webinar.     • Ghost Reviewer Invitation. If you have an interest in gaining experience as a CF Foundation reviewer, please consider signing up to serve as a ghost reviewer. Ghost reviewers have the opportunity to review application that fit with their area of interest, complete a critique, and compare their review with the assigned committee members'. Ghost reviewers will have the option to join the review meeting to observe. Providing interest here does not guarantee opportunities to ghost review.
