Calls to Action
Volunteer for Ditch the Dumpster (May 8-19)

It’s that time of year again! The Office of Sustainability is gearing up for Ditch the Dumpster, CC’s move-out donation program, and we need your help to get items sorted and back out into the community. Last year, we kept over 15,000 lbs. of stuff out of the landfill. If you have the interest and capacity to help, please sign up for a shift. Your help makes a massive difference in our campus footprint.

Join us at the CCE’s Annual Senior Symposium on Tuesday, April 21 from 3:30-5 p.m.

Every year, graduating seniors from some of our civic leadership programs present their Presentations of Learning to reflect on their community engaged experiences and Capstone projects in a conference style event on the 2nd floor of the Tutt Library. The first half hour includes a poster gallery walk session presented by our graduating Community Engaged Scholars. Here’s a sneak peak of this year’s presentation schedule. We hope that you can join us.

Student Credits for Summer Work

Do you have a student advisee who needs to catch up on credits? Who would benefit from deeper reflection during their summer experience? Is required to earn credit for a summer internship? Encourage them to sign-up for the General Studies(GS): Internship Adjunct. The adjunct is an educational strategy that links classroom learning with the application of knowledge in an applied setting. Students can email Andrea Culp at  aculp@coloradocollege.edu in the Career Center to be added to the Canvas course to learn more about assignments and expectations.

Celebrate Earth Week 2026

Get ready to celebrate Earth Week! Planned is a full schedule of events, kicking off on Monday, April 20, and running throughout the week. Visit the Earth Week webpage to learn more about each event. More event details come throughout Block 7.
