Volunteer, access virtual library resources

Campus is not the same without all of our students, but I know I'll see some of you throughout the summer. If you are around, join me in welcoming our new students during Bobcat Student Orientation, which begins later this month.
You'll be hearing from me once per month during the summer, but I am here as always if you need support.

Check OHIO job listings throughout the summer and consider applying for a student job next year or finding a summer gig if you're in Athens. A little extra cash can go a long way, and Career Services can help you take the next steps in your professional development. Beyond hourly employment, there are opportunities like Federal Work Study and Program to Aid Career Exploration you might qualify for.

Summer break doesn’t have to mean a break from purpose |
You don’t have to be in Athens to live out your values.
Find a cause in your hometown, volunteer with a local org, or join a virtual project. Use your
summer to learn with community, wherever you are.

| Resilience and Resistance |
Artists often used their practice to explore and react to occurrences in society. The 23 KMA artworks selected for this exhibition address a common theme of activism. Some depict events that occurred over a hundred years ago, while others reference more contemporary issues. See the exhibit at the Kennedy Museum of Art.
