Nations Ministry Opportunities This Summer

Nations Ministry is looking for folks to help with their high schoolers this summer! Are you free for a day or two?

Dates: June 10-July 12
Location: Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 5112 Raywood Lane

Would you be willing to lead or help in a small group or meet one-on-one with a student about a topic below?
- Gardening Basics
- Car Maintenance
- Financial Literacy
- Communication in the Workplace
- Public Speaking & Presenting
- Mental Health & Self-Care
- Conflict Resolution
- Professionalism (dress code, timeliness, conduct, etc.)

We also would like to recruit people to work with students one-on-one to create a resume and practice interview skills.

Another one-on-one opportunity would be "life coach" mentoring, where a community volunteer meets with a high school student to answer questions and give advice.

Sewing Pillowcases with Preston Taylor Ministries
We need you!

When: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, June 18, 20 and 25


Where: Westminster’s Sewing/Weaving Room
We’re recruiting “sewing buddies” to work one-on-one with PT girls (grades 3-5) as they create their own pillowcases. The
class will be limited to a maximum of eight students.
