Each year, CC celebrates extraordinary individuals by awarding Honorary Degrees to those who have made remarkable contributions in their professions, the College, or the wider community. Past recipients have included a dynamic range of achievers – a choreographer, a U.S. Senator, a photographer, a National Geographic explorer, and even a banjo-playing international relations advocate.
The Academic Events Committee invites nominations for individuals to receive Honorary Degrees. Nominees for Honorary Degrees should be leaders who embody CC’s values and vision through exceptional achievement in their fields and can be anyone but ideally should have some connection to the college that we can honor. However, they need not be CC alumni.
For this round of nominations, the deadline is the last day of Block 4.
There will be another deadline strictly for nominating CC alums in Block 7.
Please visit the Honorary Degree website for more information and to submit your nomination.
