I hope you are all finding ways to stay engaged and energized during these cold snaps. As midterms approach, take advantage of all the Academic Achievement Center resources or find your favorite study spot around campus.
Just as academics are important, so is your well-being. We continue to expand resources and programming to help you prioritize yourself. A big thank you to the 2,800+ students who participated in our Healthy Minds survey, helping us reach our target response rate. Your feedback is invaluable, and there will be more opportunities to engage in this important work soon.
Take care of yourselves, support one another, and keep pushing forward—you’ve got this!

A Green Dot is a behavior, choice or action that promotes safety for everyone. It communicates intolerance for harmful situations on our campus and that everyone can play a part in keeping our community safe. Green Dots are simple actions you can take in your everyday life. The heart of the Green Dot Bystander Intervention program are the 3 D's:
Direct: Step in and address the situation yourself or check in on the person experiencing the harm.
Distract: Create a diversion to interrupt the situation by asking someone for directions or asking if they dropped a dollar.
Delegate: Recruit others to help with the situation like another student, a friend, a faculty member or coworker.

Ohio University’s Survivor Advocacy Program’s (SAP) mission is to provide confidential support, trauma-focused counseling, and advocacy services to student survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating/domestic violence and stalking. They provide services regardless of when or where an incident occurred, and you can always choose if you want to report the incident to law enforcement or University Equity and Civil Rights Compliance. BobcaThon isn’t just an event—it’s a movement. Each year, the community comes together to dance, fundraise, and rally in support of families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio. While their children receive critical medical care, we help provide them with a home-away-from-home. Join us to create hope, healing, and happiness—one step, one donation, and one dance at a time.
