As winter softly transitions into spring, please join us as we gather this coming Saturday for an Open Meditative Dialogue with guest speaker D Allen.
D Allen divides his time between California and Oaxaca, Mexico, where he has facilitated a meditation and conversation group for twenty years. He worked closely with Toni Packer, helped her put together her last two books, and often spent summers on volunteer staff at Springwater. After Toni could no longer travel to California to lead retreats, he was part of a small group, including Sandra Gonzalez, who continued retreating together.
D is the author of The World Cannot Be Broken: looking for shelter and discovering wonder in the lives we have. He is interested in stepping more fully with others into this life that is singing and shining for us when we are available to it, including in times of great difficulty.
The schedule is as follows:

1:30 - 1:55 pm - Timed Sitting

Speaking and dialoguing at Springwater Center is different from a lecture or a discussion group where we share what we already know. The spirit of meditative inquiry infuses talks and dialogues with a sense of exploration and discovery, of being open to the freshness of not knowing. Join the program online and experience this for yourself.
Online Open Meditative Dialogues are donation-based events. To contribute in support, a donation of $12 per attendance is suggested. Please use the button below to donate, and choose the "Online Sittings/Programs" option. Your generosity helps keep online programs available for all to attend.
Thank you.
