Advising for Fall 2021 Registration is Underway!

We encourage all of our students to start to consult with your advisors now to prepare for the start of Fall 2021 registration on April 7th.  This is also the time to review your summer schedule, so you can familiarize yourself with the courses you'll be taking soon.
Here are the steps to find out who your advisor is so you can reach out to them about your plan of study:
  • Login to Single Sign On
  • Click on LORA
  • Under the "Student Records" column, click on "Advisor." Here, you should be able to see the name of your advisor as well as their contact information.
  • If for whatever reason you do not have an advisor listed, contact Dr. Corina Todoran at ctodoran@loyno.edu for next steps.
To see which courses will be offered when, click here, select Schedule of Classes, and search by the term you wish to know more about.

An Easter Reflection
This time last year many of us were only just beginning to accept the new reality of living through a pandemic. We learned how to work from home or deal with new safety protocols at our jobs. We helped our children learn virtually and did our best to keep in touch with family and friends. We had to find ways to deal with the ever-growing uncertainty of what this pandemic was going to look like in the months to come.
One year later, the future is starting to look a little bit clearer. More and more of the population is being vaccinated, the number of cases has decreased in many parts of the country, and life has begun to feel just a little more hopeful.
As we celebrate Easter this year, the story of how Jesus died and was resurrected to new life takes on new meanings for us. Human beings have suffered tremendous loss in the last 365 days, but we are also presented with new opportunities for revival and rebirth this spring. Getting to see loved ones and co-workers in person again, finding some relief from the paranoia of becoming sick or infecting others, having a fresh perspective on being out in public after being cooped up for months on end, there are opportunities for revival and rebirth all around us.
It's our hope that you can enjoy the holiday safely and find new gratitude for all the blessings we might have taken for granted before. We know how negative change can be; we've all experienced it firsthand. Now, we have the opportunity to see the positive side of change by working to close the last chapter to start a new one together.

“For those who love, nothing is too difficult, especially when it is done for the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
