Meet the Newest Member of Our Team: Kennedy Scott
Howdy everyone!
My name is Kennedy Scott, and I am the new Student Programming and Marketing Specialist in the CHP Student Services Office. I am thrilled to be joining the GVSU community!
I am excited to bring my experience in both higher education programs and public health education to this new role in the Student Services Office. My journey in academia was shaped by my role as a Program Coordinator for Central Michigan University’s #1 nationally ranked Alternative Breaks Program. It was there that I developed my passion for uplifting students and engaging them in programming that promotes academic, civic, and personal growth. My experience as a Certified Health Education Specialist promoting, developing, and facilitating diverse public health programs across a variety of topic areas will also come in handy as I navigate the development of programming for students in the CHP, across GVSU’s campus, and beyond.
As I embark on this new chapter, I look forward to getting to know each of you and collaborating on projects that drive positive impact within our community and beyond. Please feel free to reach out to me at scottk3@gvsu.edu to say hello or discuss any ideas you may have.
Thank you for the warm welcome, I am eager to contribute to the continued success and growth of GVSU!
