Family Campaign Celebration

You’re invited to celebrate UTHSC’s inaugural Family Campaign! Join us in the Mooney Building Library on Wednesday, February 15, from 8:30 am – 10:30 am for breakfast sandwiches and coffee or 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm for desserts. Everyone who makes a donation before the end of the month will receive a FREE UTHSC tumbler, which can be picked up at the campaign celebration.

The Black Student Association is hosting the 31st Annual BSA Awards Friday, February 17, at 6:30 pm at Collage Dance Collective. The awards honor graduating students who were nominated by their colleges for scholarship, leadership, and community service.

Students in the College of Nursing will offer free blood pressure screenings this Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm in the Madison Plaza. Participants will be able to sign up for a chance to win UTHSC swag or restaurant gift cards.

Chancellor's Extended Cabinet

Chancellor Peter Buckley has announced his updated cabinet, comprised of vice chancellors, deans, and other UTHSC leaders. The goal of expanding the cabinet is to allow for more diverse thought and viewpoints in decision-making and to amplify communications across the university.

| Conversation on Health Disparities

RSVP for a Conversation on Health Disparities Monday, February 13, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm in GEB A103. Dr. Duane T. Loynes Sr., assistant professor of Urban Studies and Africana Studies at Rhodes College, will lead the discussion about cultural humility. Lunch will be provided.
