This year's guest speaker will be Gabby Douglas, the Olympic superstar who made history as the first Black woman to win the Individual All-Around title and has earned three Olympic gold medals.
After convocation, attend MavsMeet Afterparty at Brazos Park.

Celebrate the first anniversary of UTA’s Post-Consumer Compost Program at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the University Center.
