A huge THANK YOU goes out to our Carroll County customers for voting us the #1 Telephone/Internet Service Provider, #1 Cell Phone/Tech Store, #1 Customer Service Representative – Jackie McFarland, and runner-up for Impressive Architecture for our Carroll Operations Building. This was voted on by readers of the Carroll Times Herald.   We were honored to be an even bigger part of Mills County by donating $100,000 to East Mills Child Care Solutions. We look forward to seeing the impact that this state-of-the-art center will have on the Malvern community. 
On September 5th, Western Iowa Networks and our telecommunications partner Aureon awarded the City of Westside $10,000 through Ripple Effect, an economic development match-funding program. The contributions from WIN and Aureon will be used to help reimburse the city for soft costs needed for the construction of a new shelter house community facility located at Hoffman Park. Another great project in an even better community! |

Brief TV Signal Outages Could Occur This Fall
In late September and early October, cable TV customers may experience some degree of television interference due to sun outages, which are caused by a phenomenon known as "solar satellite interference." This occurs when the sun passes directly behind the satellites that transmit cable signals. During a sun outage, you may experience pixelated pictures, picture freezes, or audio distortions for a few minutes.

Do you have questions on how to use your Android device or iPhone? Stop and see us at the Carroll Public Library on the 4th Friday of every month. There is no charge for this service. You can also always stop into our office to get your questions answered as well.  We appreciate everyone who stopped by our tent at the Rolling Hills Market in Carroll in late August. It was great to visit with everyone about WIN and UScellular services. 
It was great to be a part of Donia Days in Macedonia again this year! We sponsored the Family Fun Night and were a part of the parade again this year. It's always great to hear all of the great comments as we drive through the parade! 
We had a lot of fun with the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce on August 30th at their Briefcase Open. We were able to talk to a lot of folks regarding our fiber optic construction project in Council Bluffs. 
It was a beautiful day for golf on September 7th as we were part of the Mills County Chamber Golf Classic in Malvern. We were able to visit with many current and future customers! 
It's always a great time at the Tri-City BBQ Fest in Denison! We had the honor of sponsoring the Big Game Tent again this year and provided attendees the opportunity to catch the big game with hundreds of their closest friends!
