   NEW EAGLES INBOUND

It’s time to welcome the newest members of the Mean Green Family! Orientation sessions are taking place throughout the summer when new students and their families will get their first taste of the UNT campus. If you see them around, give them a warm welcome.

If your student org would like to table during any of the Orientation sessions, you can sign up for the Orientation Student Organization Fair at any time during the summer. Check out the schedule for Transfer and Freshman Orientation to see the dates.

   ON THE MOVE

UNT campus transportation will operate on weekdays with a limited schedule during the summer. If you are on campus, check the transit service schedule to see which routes are available. You also can use the Transit app to track shuttles, Connect buses and the A-Train in real time.

   POSTER PROWESS

This week is the last chance to submit your poster abstracts for 2026 University Research Day as they are due Friday, May 29.

Plan to join the Division of Research and Innovation Thursday, Oct. 1, for the Poster Networking Session as part of University Research Day. It’s a great chance to share your research, network and connect with other researchers on campus and celebrate the innovative work you are a part of at UNT.
