Congratulations to Steve Baas '77 who is retiring after a coaching career spanning over 45 years, including decades as a baseball, volleyball and football coach at Dowling Catholic. His family has a long history with DCHS dating back to when his father, William Baas, was the first co-ed principal at the “new” Dowling. His wife, Elena (Montalvo) Baas ‘76, and daughters, Stephanie (Baas) Campbell ‘95 and Melissa Baas ‘00, are also alumni. Read more about his career here.

| Jake Leo ‘24, Anna Schaffer ‘23 and Averie Meeks ‘21 visited DCHS this month to speak to our Foundations of Education class. All three are studying to become educators and shared their experiences and offered advice to current students thinking about becoming teachers. We love welcoming our alumni back to campus! Save the date for Dowling Catholic's biggest celebration of the year when we celebrate the 41st anniversary of the Bash on Buffalo! The event features a silent auction with onsite and remote bidding, a live auction, delicious food, signature drinks, a raffle, and more!
