You can almost hear the roar of the crowd, the crack of the bat, and the smell of freshly cut grass as you look at the latest donation to UTA Libraries' Special Collections: a UTA Mavericks Baseball uniform and team jacket from the 1970s. The uniform and jacket not only tell the story of UTA baseball, but also of a single player, Gary Bearden.
