UTA Softball honors Allan Saxe during final series doubleheader

The UT Arlington softball team will honor the late Dr. Allan Saxe on Friday, May 2, during its final home series doubleheader against Seattle University. The ceremony will take place in between games one and two and include appearances from his wife, Ruthie Brock, and other notable members at Allan Saxe Field. Game one is scheduled for 3 p.m., and game two begins around 5:30 p.m.

Trebuchet challenge makes news

History and engineering students participated in the trebuchet challenge during the History Faire on Wednesday, April 23. Using applied lessons in math, science, and history to build and test trebuchets, the competition involved launching cantaloupes, providing hands-on experience and real-life learning.
