UTA Softball honors Allan Saxe during final series doubleheader

The UT Arlington softball team will honor the late Dr. Allan Saxe on Friday, May 2, during its final home series doubleheader against Seattle University. The ceremony will take place in between games one and two and include appearances from his wife, Ruthie Brock, and other notable members at Allan Saxe Field. Game one is scheduled for 3 p.m., and game two begins around 5:30 p.m.

Get out your favorite denim jeans and join the Relationship Violence & Sexual Assault Prevention (RVSP) program tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30, to support survivors. We'll join for a group photo on the UC Mall at 1:15 p.m. You can also sign the Denim Day pledge as a commitment to raising awareness and taking action.

Trebuchet challenge makes news

History and engineering students participated in the trebuchet challenge during the History Faire on Wednesday, April 23. Using applied lessons in math, science, and history to build and test trebuchets, the competition involved launching cantaloupes, providing hands-on experience and real-life learning. Watch the story on CBS News Texas.

Earning a graduate degree

Attend a Graduate School Bound session Wednesday, April 30, 12-1 p.m. in Room 153 of the College of Business. The session will focus on how earning a graduate degree can give students a leg up in the job market and increase their earning potential.
