ACCESS
Some students are taking the ACCESS language assessment in the month of January. ACCESS for ELLs is an English language proficiency assessment for Grades K–12 for students who are in the process of learning English. ACCESS for ELLs is primarily an online assessment for grades 1-12 and a one-on-one game-based assessment for kindergarten. This year, the ACCESS for ELLs administration window will be January 10th - February 9th, 2024. The test is administered every year to help school districts support language learners in their English language development and achievement. The results of the ACCESS are important for determining when students are fluent in English.

ATTENTION SENIOR & JUNIOR PARENTS!
WHAT is Project Graduation? Traditionally held the evening of graduation (9:30pm-1am), Project Graduation is an evening of music, games, food, prizes and surprises for our graduates. On an evening where teens have a statistically higher risk of drinking and driving, Project Graduation helps to keep both the students and the community safe by providing a secure, fun-filled environment for our graduates to celebrate their big achievement. It’s an event that seniors anticipate all year and an overwhelming majority of the seniors attend following their graduation ceremony.
HOW can I help? Please join this meeting where you will learn more about Project Graduation and the volunteer opportunities available between now and the event, scheduled for May 24th (graduation day!).
Click HERE to view the agenda and post-meeting notes from the December 7 meeting. Email Kim Strauch at erickim196@aol.com with any thoughts about/additions to these notes.
