National Medal of Honor Museum opens in Arlington

The National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington opened its doors to the public on Tuesday, March 25. Two Medal of Honor recipients whose stories are on display at the museum attended this University when it was North Texas Agricultural College and participated in the Corps of Cadets. Read the stories of Col. Neel Ernest Kearby and Gen. Richard Cavazos (’49).
Through tomorrow, Friday, March 28, veterans can experience the Medal of Honor Museum’s grand opening week free of charge. To redeem a free ticket, veterans can show a valid ID at Guest Services at the museum.

| Measles outbreak: what you need to know

Measles case counts continue to rise in certain Texas regions. The threat of measles is low, especially among those vaccinated and persons born prior to 1957, who are deemed to have “presumptive immunity” and do not need vaccination. Stay informed with up-to-date information about measles and review safety information about measles from the Office of Environmental Health and Safety.
