Project Graduation 2025
It's time to start planning BMHS Project Graduation 2025!
BMHS Project Graduation is a celebration for all graduating high school seniors, held on the evening of Battle Mountain High School's graduation ceremony. This memorable evening is held in a supervised, drug and alcohol-free environment. On an evening where teens have a statistically higher risk of engaging in high-risk activities such as drinking and driving, Project Graduation provides a valuable alternative. This event has been fully organized and fundraised by parent volunteers, for over 20 years.
How can you support Project Graduation?
1. Volunteer to help! We are especially looking for parents of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. If you are interested, please attend our kick off meeting:
Project Graduation Kick-off Meeting - our first event planning meeting Tuesday, November 19 3:30 - 4:30pm Edwards Fieldhouse If you can't make the meeting, please email bmhsprojectgraduationco@gmail.com, and let us know you'd like to volunteer.
2. Make a donation! If you participate in Colorado Gives Day on December 10, or undertake any other seasonal giving, please consider Project Graduation. Every little bit will help us put on a fabulous celebration for our students! Click HERE to donate.

Education Foundation of Eagle County (EFEC) News
This fall, EFEC received an unprecedented 58 Classroom Grant applications totaling $98,395—over three times the number of applications for classroom supplies and resources normally received. Thanks to EFEC's supporters and a surprise donation, EFEC was able to fund $73,061—an increase of over $25,000 from past years!
While we at EFEC are incredibly grateful for this year’s increased funding, the need for resources in our classrooms is still greater than we can provide. That’s why we’ve created a way for you to contribute through our Raise the Grade Classroom Grants Marketplace. We hope you feel inspired to help! There, each "vote" for a specific project equals a donation. Fill your cart and donate towards the classroom needs of your choice!
Nearly every school in the district is represented! Type your school's abbreviation into the search bar (AES = Avon Elementary School, etc) and see what your school needs! Or "shop" by category, such as Math or Literacy.
A special thank you to Vail Resorts EPIC Promise for their continued support of our Classroom Grant fund and to Vail Health for funding E•ƒ(ec)’s STEM grants since 2012.
EFEC also sends its deepest thanks to our community's incredible teachers who continue to inspire and educate every day, and to all EFEC funders whose unwavering support makes this possible.
