HOUSE COMMITTEES SCHEDULE RECONCILIATION PACKAGE MARKUPS
After the Republican budget resolution passed last week, GOP congressional leaders are working to schedule markups in the House. The Judiciary, Homeland Security, Armed Services, and Transportation and Infrastructure Committees are expected to hold markups during the week of April 28--one week after Congress returns from recess--while the Energy and Commerce Committee could hold its markup as early as the week of May 5. At the time of this writing, the markup schedule for other committees, including the Education and Workforce and Ways and Means Committees, is still to be determined.
