New Season, New Opportunities For Community Growth |
|
|
As summer comes to a close and we welcome fall, we pause to reflect on the growth, connection, and resilience our community has shared over the summer. Pride season may be behind us, but the spirit of celebration, advocacy, and togetherness carries forward into the months ahead.
September offers us new opportunities—to gather, to support one another, and to continue building spaces where every LGBTQ person feels seen, valued, and safe. Whether through upcoming events, community programs, or simply showing up for one another in daily life, our strength lies in the bonds we nurture.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Together, we carry the joy of summer into a season of renewal, reflection, and continued progress.”

The Senior Box Program is a federal initiative designed to improve the health and nutrition of income eligible seniors. Seniors receive a box of free food each month, which helps stretch their limited income.

Saturday, November 1 from 9-11 AM:
St. Matthew Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall
30 West Chestnut St. Hanover, PA 17331
The Rainbow Rose Center is proud to be participating in the bi-annual meal packing event for Hanover Against Hunger on November 1st.
At this event, volunteers gather to pack and organize bags of food to feed those in need. Hunger knows no boundaries and these efforts will help feed thousands in situations of disaster relief, local food relief and children in orphanages and schools through the global organization, Rise Against Hunger.
