Find it, fix it, and haunt it this Halloween season

With scary season in full swing, Marketing, Messaging, and Engagement has a frighting story to tell—a campus full of inconsistent branding due to undead logos.
Why it matters: Help bring the old logos up-to-date this Halloween season with Find it, fix it, and haunt it. A ghoulishly good time in our push toward unifying all of campus under effective, consistent branding.
Going deeper: Be sure to continue reporting and correcting logo misuse. Whether it be around campus or on digital platforms, every submission and correction brings us closer to expelling the ghost of outdated logos.

The anthem of Maverick spirit
|
UTA's fight song, rewritten by songwriting students and Department of Music faculty, captures Maverick pride and celebrates 130 years of excellence.
Why it matters: Now a part of UTA’s history, the fight song carries a deeper meaning for the Maverick community. It was the final arrangement that Doug Stotter, a passionate mentor and beloved professor in UTA’s music program, completed for the UTA Maverick Marching Band before his unexpected passing in April.
Going deeper: Watch this mini documentary to listen to the Maverick Marching Band’s debut performance of the fight song, discover how songwriting students brought it to life, and hear about the hard work the band put into practicing it. Dr. Stotter’s legacy lives on through the song, which will be a cornerstone of UTA celebrations for years to come.
