Campus construction projects underway

UTA is embarking on significant remodeling and expansion projects that will continue throughout the spring semester. The North Pedestrian Bridge on Cooper Street, now closed, is being revitalized and will reopen with cosmetic upgrades March 15, 2024. The bridge will be updated with new electrical components and prominent UTA branding to increase the visual presence of UTA for motorists passing by campus.
The South Bridge will temporarily close from Monday, Dec. 18, to Jan. 15, 2024, then will reopen until March 16, 2024, when it will close again for revitalization through early May. The Central Bridge will remain open and available throughout this project.
Cooper Street will have nightly vehicle lane closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. with the two innermost lanes remaining open. View more project details and alternative transportation and parking resources.
