TRANSforming Church Culture:Becoming Trans Inclusive

What is it?
During two Sunday afternoon sessions, we will cover some basic truths about transgender people and learn how the bible beckons us to support transgender folks in our community. In our first session, we will begin with a meet and greet, and then reflect on the use of language and the importance of ensuring safety and autonomy for our trans neighbors. And in our second session, we will expand our focus to reflect on experiences of trans individuals both inside and outside our walls.

Who is it for?
This training is for those who have some awareness of trans justice but are wanting to go from allies to advocates, as well as exploring how Wellspring can be a more welcoming place for God's children of any gender.

When and where?
June 22 & 29, 2:00-4:00pm @ Wellspring (in-person only)

How do I sign up?
