To All Members of the Campus Community:
California will hold a primary election on March 5, when we will vote for candidates for president, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, statewide constitutional offices, and the state legislature to advance to the November general election. We also will vote on several local issues and candidates.
Sacramento State will host a four-day vote center on campus in Modoc Hall, where Sacramento County voters can cast a ballot or deposit their vote-by-mail ballot in a secure ballot drop-box. The Vote Center will also allow voters to pick up a replacement ballot as well as provide the opportunity for same-day registration and voting. There will be free parking at the Vote Center in designated spaces.
The Vote Center’s schedule is:
• 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 2-Monday, March 4.
• 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 (Election Day).
The simple act of voting is critical to our democracy and has never been more important. I sincerely hope that all eligible Hornets will take part in this year’s election.
