Building Refresh
We sincerely thank all who have contributed to the Wellspring building refresh. To date, we have received $26,000 toward our goal of $35,000.
These funds will help offset the costs of much-needed renovations to our building. Please consider making a gift towards these renovations in addition to your regular contributions. These gifts will ensure our financial stability. To make an online donation, visit the link and select “One Time Gift” with “Building” in the Note Section. If submitting a check, write “Building” in the memo line. Your faithfulness is greatly appreciated.

Cooper Elementary STAAR Testing Encouragement for Teachers

Show the teachers of Cooper Elementary some encouragement and support by contributing snacks to stock the teacher’s lounge during STAAR testing April 22! The teachers have been working hard all year to prepare their students, and we want to celebrate their efforts and help them feel encouraged and cared for. Snacks and drinks can be brought to Wellspring by Sunday, April 20. Marie Camp will deliver them to Cooper for the testing dates. Ideas for snacks/drinks (individually packaged is preferred): cookies, trail mix, pretzels, popcorn, granola bars, crackers, sodas, sparkling water, tea, etc.

Where the Horses Heal the Soul
A Documentary about the Ride on Center for Kids
Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 PM – Wellspring Sanctuary

Prior to their passing in the spring of 2023, George and Barbara Brightwell supported a documentary about one of their pet projects in Georgetown, the Ride on Center for Kids (ROCK). Where the Horses Heal the Soul will be screened in our sanctuary on Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 PM. The documentary chronicles the transformative power of hippotherapy, a form of therapy utilizing horses, in the lives of individuals with special needs, veterans, and others affected by trauma. Through their experiences at ROCK, these individuals have found solace and healing in the presence of these magnificent creatures. We cordially invite you to join us for this poignant documentary.

Celebrating the Ministry of Sallia Bandy
Sunday, May 18, following the late service

Last Sunday, we formally announced Sallia Bandy’s retirement at the end of May. Sallia has served as our choir director for 17 years and has decided to retire from that position. She has assured us that she will continue to be involved in our tech booth and serving where she can. To celebrate Sallia, we are combining our semi-annual Meet at the Well Pot Luck Luncheon with a retirement celebration for her on Sunday, May 18,
immediately following the late service. Please make arrangements to celebrate Sallia and her ministry among us.

Enneagram Group Forming

Beginning Tuesday, April 22, at 2:00 PM

If you are familiar with the Enneagram or are interested in learning about it alongside fellow travelers, this group is for you. We will commence on Tuesday, April 22, at 2:00 PM, and we will endeavor to facilitate the development of both newcomers to the Enneagram and those who are on their journey toward a deeper comprehension. Subsequently, this group will evolve into an ongoing community where we will share our personal experiences and provide mutual support as we undertake the transformative “inner work” associated with the Enneagram.

The group will convene weekly throughout the month of May on Tuesdays at 2:00 PM. Subsequently, we will establish a monthly gathering schedule that accommodates the preferences of those who wish to participate in a long-term group.

Kindly register for this group at the following link: https://forms.gle/EYWFkpz28c3vrfTP8

John 20:1-18
The journey of grief is finally what gives us the capacity to see the resurrected Christ. How many times are we standing in tears having no idea what is right in front of us? And what is in front of us is the life … the hope … the resurrection for which we have longed.
