Are you looking to make your course design more accessible for your students?

The Working Group on Universal Access (WGUA) invites you to a training on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) this fall! UDL employs multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression in order to foster inclusive learning environments where students of all abilities can thrive. We will be hosting a one-hour training to cover the basics of UDL and how you can incorporate it into your classrooms. 

Additional trainings on UDL will be offered throughout the Fall semester, so keep an eye out for upcoming trainings.

This training will be hosted by Karyn Schell, Professor of Spanish Studies and Tom Merrell, Assistant Dean and Director of SDS. All USF faculty are welcome!

At this event, STEM faculty will be sharing their experiences with active learning and inclusive teaching strategies, integrating research, project-based, or experiential learning into the classroom, cross-disciplinary or community-engaged learning in STEM, and other teaching pedagogies. Please join us as we connect, learn, and enhance our teaching practices together.

Coffee/tea and lunch will be served.
