Dining Hall Addition is COMPLETE!

Ok, it's time to break it down for you. I want to share with you where we are with the dining hall addition funding. First, of all we could not have gone forward with this building had it not been for the Powells & Brad Crain. The fact that they came in at $375,000 for the cost of this building is remarkable. But we did have expenses that went above the $375,000. Here is a list of things that were not included in this building price:
-Flooring - $12,800 - Pd
-Cabinets - $1,500 - Pd
-Fireplace - $2,746.00
-Trim - $2,000.00
- Patio Furniture - $2,925 - Pd
- Tables and Chairs - $8,468.88 - Pd
- Coffee Pot -$750.00 - Pd
- Dining Room Supplies - $6,420.30 - Pd
-Office Furniture - $545.00
- Stone $1,300.00 - Pd
So all in for this building is $414,455.18.
We are very excited to announce that all we have left to pay for this project is $74,291. This is the amount that we will be borrowing on the construction loan. Not bad. We would love to have this paid off by the end of this year.
This does not include updating current dining hall and kitchen. We still want to do some modifications to the current kitchen and we did go ahead and add new flooring in the current dining hall.
Now is the time to be in prayer for ways that you and your church can help us finish this project without having to hold debt very long.

We are excited to announce some further details about our special Work Day on May 3rd. Hanging Rock Christian Camp is looking for volunteers to help serve around our property to help us prepare for Summer Camp. During the day, we will take a moment to celebrate & acknowledge our new Dining Hall Addition at 11:30am ET. This new addition will be introduced with a RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY! At the end of the Work Day, we will be thanking all of our volunteers with a lunch provided in the BRAND-NEW Dining Hall!
Spread the word and come help serve at Hanging Rock on May 3rd. We would love to have you, and we are excited to reveal the new Dining Hall Addition to you!

Just a friendly reminder to sign up for the Senior Adult Day on May 7th! We are bringing Gary & Julie Black to Hanging Rock for Gary to speak and for Julie to lead us in worship. Gary & Julie have served in vocational ministries for
several years.
If you would like to join us on May 7th, feel free to call us to register so that way we can have numbers for how many we will need to serve for lunch.

Make sure to mark your calendars for June 1st for an unforgettable day to kick off the summer! Celebrate Good Times is an event to kick off our summer camp season. This event will be from 2-5pm ET. In addition, we will be having the tack barn dedication ceremony during Celebrate Good Times at 3:30pm ET. We would love for you to have the opportunity to take a look at our new Terry Evans Memorial Tack Barn over at the horse camp property.
Invite your friends and get ready for an awesome day full of food, fun, & fellowship!
Don't forget this is also the day to donate cereal, paper towels, laundry detergent, dryer sheets and dishwashing liquid for the summer camp season.
