The Geisler-Penquite Foundation awarded more than $9 million to Central College, the largest single gift to Central in the college’s history!
“We are so thankful for this generous gift. As the gift was just announced, we are working in partnership with the foundation to finalize all details, but we anticipate a large investment in student scholarships and the education program,” says Michelle Wilkie, director of development. “We are also excited to establish a full-tuition scholarship in honor of the Timmer Family, who were so pivotal in establishing a relationship with the Geisler and Penquite families more than 50 years ago. That relationship has led to such an incredible partnership that has spanned generations and has created a lasting impact for so many students at Central. A true blessing to our institution!”
