Hey St. Lukers!
Are you still fired up with the Holy Spirit from Pentecost? I am so proud to be a St. Luker right now, because after worship last week, more than 100 of you signed the Central Florida Pledge saying that you are going to stand up against all the stories we are hearing that preach hate and exclusion, and instead live our core values in your life, in your workplace, in your neighborhood, and in our whole community. We already have a story to tell, and we get to tell it in a way that is hopeful and not rooted in fear. I pray that this is how we begin to build a community that really resembles God’s Kingdom.
If you did not sign the Central Florida Pledge on Sunday, you can still do so by clicking here. If you haven’t taken it recently, you may want to go back and see if anything has changed and how God is gifting or calling you now. And, if you’re just not sure where to start, please be sure you reach out to me, so that you can feel confident when you say “I am the church.”
