Ash Wednesday Ushers Needed

6:30 arrival for detailed instructions
As hosts of this year's combined Ash Wednesday service, Wellspring is responsible for ushering, including welcoming, handing out bulletins, and guiding worshipers to their stations for imposition of ashes. These duties are crucial for the worship experience that is so meaningful to so many.
Even if you've never ushered before, detailed instructions will be given for all who can assist. If you are planning to attend and are able-bodied, or are willing to help in any way, we need you! This service will include many Wesleyan faith communities in our area gathering at Southwestern University's Lois Perkins Chapel. Parking is available in visitor parking and faculty/staff parking. Click HERE for a parking map.

Pastor Jessica will lead a five-week Lenten series inviting participants to deepen their faith through prayerful, embodied engagement with Scripture. Each session offers an experiential and accessible way to slow down, reflect, and listen for God’s presence through Scripture, music, art, silence, and gentle movement. This group is open to anyone seeking a meaningful Lenten rhythm and a supportive space for reflection as we journey toward Holy Week. Register today!

Whereas vs. 18 has been used in some circles as a claim of Jesus endorsing harm, what is really happening is that we are being shown how to discern the mindset of Christ, regardless of how we might be dismantling our own biases or acting at our own personal risk for the sake of Christ.
