"God has the power to provide you with more than enough of every kind of grace. That way, you will have everything you need always and in everything to provide more than enough for every kind of good work….the one who supplies seed for planting and bread for eating will supply and multiply your seed and will increase your crop, which is righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous in every way. Such generosity produces thanksgiving to God through us."
2 Corinthians 9:8-12

Dear St. Lukers,
We want to thank you for your faithfulness and generosity throughout 2023 which has helped us harvest an abundance of healing, helping, and hope for our congregation and community. Children have been taught about God’s love, young people have been encouraged and impassioned to build a just and welcoming community, and families have been supported, hearts healed, and God honored. Thank you for the privilege of serving alongside you to support God’s mission for us to Awaken Disciples to Reveal God’s Kingdom.
We pray that you and yours gather at tables for an abundance of laughter, memories, and grace. Join us on Sunday (November 26) for Thanksgiving worship where we will take a look back at the past year and celebrate the end of the Christian calendar before moving into Advent. Check out the Thanksgiving podcast with your pastors, available wherever you listen to podcasts, as they talk about our Scripture lesson from 2 Corinthians 8, and consider the power of generosity.
Happy Thanksgiving!
- Your St. Luke's Staff
