UCSB Affiliates News

March 2026

Dear Affiliates,

Go Gauchos! We loved seeing the community spirit at the recent Men's & Women's basketball games. We are keeping the spirit of engagement moving forward into March with an exciting lineup of events and opportunities to connect.

What does it mean to create art in an era of rapidly evolving technology? Join us on Wednesday, March 11th at Lama Dog Uptown for an evening with Professor Andrew A. Watts from the College of Creative Studies.

Professor Watts will pull back the curtain on his latest work, exploring the digital frontier through data sonification, glitch aesthetics, and multimedia AI. Whether you are a tech enthusiast or an arts lover, this talk promises to be a thought-provoking look at the future of sound.

We’re expanding, and we want you involved! As we launch new programs to grow our reach, we’re seeking passionate volunteers and board members eager to share fresh ideas. If you're invested in UCSB and ready to make an impact, we would love to hear from you. Simply reply to this email to start the conversation!

Thank you for your continued support and engagement. We look forward to seeing you at Lama Dog tomorrow!

Until next time,
