| Dear Students,
I wanted to personally let you know that as of May 31st, I have retired from my position as Dean of the Padnos College of Engineering and Computing. It has been an incredible journey, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated faculty, staff, partners, and, most importantly, you – our amazing students.
Our college has always thrived on its strong community connections, and I am confident that this spirit will continue as we transition. For the next month, Tim Born, who has served as Associate Dean for several years, will step in as Interim Dean. Starting July 1st, we will officially launch the new College of Computing and Padnos College of Engineering, each with their respective Deans. The College of Computing will be led by Dean Marouane Kessentini and the Padnos College of Engineering will be led by Interim Dean Tim Born.
Please know that your academic experience remains a top priority, and I believe wholeheartedly in your potential to achieve great things. Thank you for being a part of this remarkable community. I wish you all the very best in your academic endeavors and beyond.
With heartfelt sincerity,
Paul Plotkowski
