Every decision you make matters and every action you take has a consequence for your future. Who are your friends? What is your commitment to your academics? Do you recognize at-risk behaviors? Do you take responsibility for your decisions, choices, and consequences? Your answers to these questions will determine if your actions are leading you towards a successful future.

Since the beginning of powered flight, nurses have contributed to the expanding and evolving aviation and aerospace industry. From active roles as aviators, flight attendants, and flight nurses, to supportive duties in clinical, occupational, and research settings, nurses have served in critical roles in civilian and military aviation and space exploration. Today, nurses continue to provide clinical, administrative, educational, and research expertise in a collaborative approach with other aerospace industry- and healthcare-related disciplines to ensure the health and well-being of aerospace clients, such as pilots, flight crews, air passengers, and astronauts. Join us as we celebrate our past and discuss exciting new opportunities for nurses in caring for clients from the ocean depths to the stars and in every rural, remote, and extreme environment in between. Learn more at this week’s Six O’Clock Series on October 7.
