The Community Engagement Center invites you to the Annual Civic Engagement Resource Fair to connect with a variety of community organizations – League of Women Voters, American River Parkway Foundation, YMCA, SMUD, and many more – to learn about community service opportunities and voter education. Filipino American History Month Film Series: Nurse Unseen
The Filipino American History Month Planning Committee invites you to a screening of “Nurse Unseen” in the Hinde Auditorium on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. This film explores the little-known history and humanity of Filipino nurses who risked their lives on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic and anti-Asian violence. Outdoor Adventures this week
This week, we have two super fun Peak trips. On Friday, Oct. 17, we will run our Lightrail to Trail bike trip. This is an excellent trip for learning more about the local, alternative transportation to campus. On Sunday, Oct. 19, we head to the Bay Area for a Golden Parks Adventure! We will explore Golden Gate Park, enjoy the views at Crissy Field, and take in all the nature the city has to offer. Transportation from Peak Adventures and needed gear will be provided for both trips. Sign up!
