“In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.” (Exodus 15:13)
For the past 18 months, NDI leaders from around the world met in person and on Zoom to help plan the 2023 NDI General Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. What an amazing, Spirit-anointed time we had from 9-12 June! We gathered in NDI plenary sessions, workshops, ministry meetings, GA worship services, GA families, prayer circles, Children’s World Quiz, GA Kids, and the Quadrennial Address. We were inspired, equipped, and sent as Nazarene disciples to become fully-engaged disciple makers “By His Grace!”
How can I say thank you adequately to all the leaders and volunteers who made it possible? I am so grateful to God for you! How can I thank God enough for His love and blessings on us? I am humbled and in awe of God most high!
In Scripture, whenever God did something big, the Israelites celebrated. Often, a song was written to commemorate such a victory, as is the case in Exodus 15. Culturally, we don’t always practice such celebrations in modern times. However, I want to pause to celebrate what God did!
Jesus, you are powerful and faithful, compassionate and loving, true and holy. We praise and honor your name.
Thank you, Jesus, for your wonderful grace and mercy. You gave strength to our leaders. You made your presence known in our plenary services. You did miraculous works in the hearts of our delegation. You overcame the attacks of the enemy. You provided exactly what we needed.
We promise to do our best to listen for your voice and to obey you always. Out of our deep love for you, we commit to make disciples of others. We believe you are able to do this through us as we follow you today.
Friends, we have much to do in partnering with God in His mission to make Christlike disciples. While Christ tarries, let us put on the full armor of God and continue to be faithful to follow Him into our world with grace and truth.
