Our records indicate you are provisionally admitted. To finalize your admission you must submit final/official documents from all post-secondary educational institutions at which you completed one or more full academic terms (or equivalent).
Domestic Documents:
Official transcripts from US institutions must be sent to the UC Santa Barbara Graduate Division directly from the institution. Please see our Admitted Students web page for complete instructions and information.
International Degrees:
If you have earned a degree(s) from an institution(s) outside of the United States, you are required to complete and submit a WES Course-by-Course ICAP evaluation that includes all post-secondary study. Be sure to review all information on the Admitted International Students web page to ensure proper compliance.
Which Documents are Required?
The specific items that you are required to submit are listed in your official Decision Letter from the Dean of the Graduate Division and in the Required Documents tab of your eApp. For fall 2025 admission, all required documents are due no later than September 1st. Remember that only final documents (with all degrees reported finalized and conferred) will be accepted. Please submit your required documents as soon as possible.
When all required documents have been received, your admissions status will be changed from Provisional Admission to Unconditional Admission and the Required Documents tab will no longer display. Once your status is changed to Unconditional, this step is complete!
