As we prepare to welcome you back to campus for the spring semester, we want to share some important information about course availability and registration.
We know many of you are still working to finalize your schedules with the courses you need. We're here to help, and we have good news: we are in the process of adding approximately 40 new course sections in high-demand areas based on current waitlist data. Additionally, there are currently over 39,000 open seats available across various course sections. We encourage you to explore these options as you build your schedule for the semester ahead.
This brings us to an important point: if the course you need is full, please be sure to add yourself to the waitlist whenever possible. Waitlists provide us with critical data about student demand and help us determine where additional sections are most needed. Your participation in this process directly influences our ability to serve you better.
Here are some additional strategies to help you complete your schedule:

Work with Academic Advising: We strongly encourage you to connect with Academic Advising and/or a faculty advisor to identify open courses that meet your specific degree requirements. Advisors can help you navigate alternatives and ensure you're making progress toward your academic goals, even if your first-choice courses aren't available.
- Check for Hornet Fast Track courses: High-demand courses will once again be offered through our College of Continuing Education during the second eight weeks of the semester. These accelerated courses can help you stay on track toward graduation.
