Description: The Bridwell Institute’s Semiquincentennial of Freedom is a year-long celebration of the 250th anniversary of two of the greatest documents in history, the Declaration of Independence and Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations. Featuring scholars Michael Munger and Amy Willis, the discussion will examine Smith’s lasting contributions to economics, moral philosophy, and the principles of a free society. Together, they will explore how Smith’s ideas continue to shape debates about economic freedom, markets, institutions, and prosperity in the twenty-first century.
