Owen Graduate School of Business Professor, Rangaraj Ramanujam, will discuss the interpersonal challenges that often undermine learning in the workplace, framing them through the lens of psychological safety—the extent to which individuals believe they can take interpersonal risks without fear of negative consequences. He will outline how varying levels of psychological safety can either promote or inhibit the behaviors essential for continuous learning and improvement at work.

Golnaz Arastoopour Irgens Selected for AWS Education Equity Initiative |
|
|
|
LIVE Faculty, Golnaz Arastoopour Irgens was selected for the competitive AWS Education Equity Initiative for her work with Adventures in AI, a suite of tools that lets elementary students not only learn how to use AI, but learn how to create it. Adventures in AI is taking flight thanks in part to the Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) Education Equity Initiative which seeks to boost future skills in education. AWS awarded Arastoopour Irgens with over $80,000 credits to build Adventures in AI using AWS cloud and AI technologies. To read more, check out our recent news by clicking below.

Cloud Innovation Lab Launch on Oct 27 |

The Vanderbilt Cloud Innovation Lab, powered by Amazon Web Services will create immersive learning experiences for students to develop and deploy artificial intelligence and cloud technologies to advance digital preservation. Under the mentorship of AWS and Library technologists, students will learn new technologies as well as project management, agile methodologies, experiential problem solving, and other skills needed to thrive in the technology industry.

The Cloud Innovation Lab represents a new model for industry and academic library collaboration, leveraging the world-class talent of Vanderbilt students and the power of AWS cloud-based technologies to solve real-world challenges. Attend the launch to learn more.
