Undergraduate research drives alum to dream career

Undergraduate research at UW-Whitewater opens doors for students and allows them to gain critical soft skills built through hands-on learning with experienced faculty. Tyler Brasington, who earned a B.S. in environmental science in 2017, used his connections made through undergraduate research and a travel study to Yellowstone National Park to launch his dream career working with grizzly bears in one of the country’s most beautiful geographic areas.
