Dr. Ayelen Moreno-Irusta is a scientist specializing in reproductive biology and molecular biology. She holds a Ph.D. in Reproductive Biology from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, and a B.S. in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology from the National University of La Plata. 

On behalf of the Medical Student Assembly, Anders Meyer received The Illuminator Award from the Class of 2027. 

In the early hours of November 10, 2025, The University of Kansas Health System reached a milestone by going live with Epic Beaker, a cutting-edge laboratory information system (LIS) developed by Epic Systems.
