Tuesday, October 20, 2026 | 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Research Security is a rapidly evolving area of U.S. federal regulatory compliance that encompasses a broad range of activities at U.S. academic institutions. This webinar examines ideas for embedding Research Security as part of enterprise-level risk management discussions across institutions. SciENcv Document Digital Certificate Expiration- Update Related to Upcoming Submission Deadlines
The Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) recently became aware of time-sensitive changes affecting NIH-SciENcv generated documents. SciENcv updated the digital certificate used to certify the NIH Biosketch and Current & Pending (Other) Support (CPOS) documents without advance notification, resulting in the previous certificate expiration on Saturday, September 26, 2026. During the OSP final compliance review, the pre-award Specialist will review these documents to ensure the ‘Valid to’ date is 03/14/2027 in order to provide review comments to the PI/RST when necessary.
The myResearch pre-submission validation will not generate a warning or error message. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the assigned pre-award specialist in the funding proposal.
