About the Program
Melodies Manipulated: Intellectual Property and the Music Industry will focus on the law at the intersection of Intellectual Property and Music. Panels will include discussions of copyright, artificial intelligence, and the use of rap lyrics as evidence in criminal trials. This dynamic series will provide unique and important perspectives on the most current topics affecting the music industry.
The IPLJ has invited distinguished professors, scholars, practitioners, and alumni to participate and attend the symposium. Attorneys from national non-profits, elite law firms, major music production companies, government offices, among others, will be in attendance.
