2026 Income and Purchase Price Limits 
MRB 01 Affidavit Correction

Please note that one non-substantive change was made to the MRB 01 Buyer Affidavit to correct a typo in the footer date. The second and third page footer now reflects a date of "2026.06". The original linked document has been updated below for system updates.

The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) homeownership program's 2026 income and purchase price limits will be effective for new reservations on and after Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

The income and purchase price limits for the FirstHome program have increased across the board with the exception of Cedar and Story counties.

Purchase Price: $566,000*
Income: Varies by County

Homes for Iowans

Purchase Price: $692,000
Income Limit: $171,360

*Non-Targeted Area purchase price limit. 

The updated income limits are reflected in the MRB 01 Buyer Affidavit and will be updated in Lender Online and on IFA's website effective June 9. Please be sure to update your records accordingly.
