Christ Church Career Connections: Conscious that many in the DC metro area may be between jobs, the clergy have revived a program that aims to connect job seekers with potential employers. If you are looking for work, or know someone who is, Christ Church offers the opportunity to submit your resume to a confidential file. Those looking to hire can request access to relevant resumes and CVs. While we won’t list names publicly, we will share the areas in which people are seeking employment. Whether you’re job hunting or hiring, starting close to home might be a great option. To participate, send your resume and contact the Rector.
If you are looking for people or know of someone who is, we currently have people interested in the following areas; National Security/ Crisis Management, HR, Project Management, Government Affairs/ Lobbying, Editing/Admin/Research/Writing, Paralegal or Legal Assistant, and IT.
Christ Church Career Connections is a ministry dedicated to supporting parishioners and those they would vouch for in seasons of vocational transition. Through networking, mentorship, prayer, and practical resources, we walk alongside one another in the search for meaningful work and purpose.
Christ Church Women’s Retreat: Looking for an opportunity to enter into Resurrection joy? Join your Christ Church sisters for a weekend of prayer and play, reflection and recreation, feasting and fun. The retreat will take place from Friday, May 2 to Sunday, May 4 in historic Cambridge, Maryland. For more information or to register, click here. The deadline for registration is Thursday, April 24.
