The Oregon Cybersecurity Center of Excellence and the Mark O. Hatfield Cybersecurity & Cyber Defense Policy Center will be hosting an in-person Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise the day after Oregon Cybersecurity Resilience Summit (OCRS) (https://ocrs.uoregon.edu/join-us-2024/) at the University of Oregon! If you plan to attend one or both events, a travel stipend may be available to offset the cost for eligible government employees.

Whether you are an experienced cybersecurity professional or in a role that intersects with cybersecurity risk management, this exercise will benefit you. This exercise will be particularly useful if you work for one of the following:

- State agencies
- City and County governments
- Tribal organizations and governments
- Special districts
- Public schools (K-12, colleges, and universities)

This exercise will provide multiple scenarios for participants to work through, including questions you can answer about your organization. There will also be opportunities for large and small group discussions about the scenarios and questions, as well as resources available to SLTT at the state and federal levels.
Core learning objectives include:

Increase awareness of cyber risk management, incident detection, prevention, protection, and response.
- Improve participants’ knowledge of state and federal cybersecurity resources.
- Assess your organization’s ability to integrate cybersecurity into all-hazards preparedness and planning.
- Examine internal and external information sharing and coordination.

Funding to Support SLTT Attendance |
The Mark O. Hatfield Cybersecurity and Cyber Defense Policy Center received substantial earmark from the U.S. Congress to provide cybersecurity resilience training for Oregon's local government. This grant enables us to offer a $100 stipend up to 75 stipends for tabletop participants. All stipend recipients must be employed by one of the following agency types in Oregon:
