Spring Term in Canvas Is Open - Merge Now! |
If you are the Instructor of Record in Banner for a course in the Spring, then you should see the course(s) in Canvas. If you do not see a course on your Dashboard, then check with your department to make sure you are the Instructor of Record.
Have you seen the first day of the Spring term? It starts on Monday, January 5th. If you want courses or sections merged, please contact ETLC at helpdesk@uah.edu asap to get this done! We will not have much time between graduation on December 15th or when we come back on January 2nd before classes begin.

Our Students Are Working… |
In Spring 2025, first year UAH students responded to the NSSE survey and were asked to report whether they worked off campus. Forty-five percent of respondents reported working off campus, which is an increase over the 28% that reported working off campus on the 2019 NSSE survey. This outcome represents a shift in the student population at UAH where more first year students are trying to balance competing priorities of work and school. Working in college has been shown to have a consistent negative relationship with college completion and slows progress to a degree by decreasing the amount of hours attempted and earned. If they can balance work and school, working students may demonstrate more career readiness by developing skills and practical experience that will aid their transition after graduation.
